The trans­ac­tions between the par­ties and insti­tu­tions are all auto­mated and coded with mul­ti­ple lay­ers of autho­riza­tion and secu­rity pro­ce­dures. The reli­able and proper func­tion­ing of these “behind the scenes” processes forms the foun­da­tion of trust between the mer­chant, the online cus­tomer, and your pay­ments processor.
